The story behind Johnnie's Body Shop and 24 Hour Towing
 The Body Shop was established in 1937 by Mr. Johnny Dosdorian who owned the body shop from 1937-1958. He sold the shop to Mike Sipnicki in 1958 who remained the owner until 1979 when he sold the current business owner, Mr. Carlos "Charlie" Ramirez. Since 1979, The Ramirez Family has owned and operated Johnnie's Body Shop expanding the business to what it is today.
Due to the demands of an expanding business and to accommodate the growing need for quality auto body repair, Johnnie's Body Shop has been forced to move two times over the past 30 years. In 1979, Johnnie's was still at the original location on Alhambra Boulevard and Q Street.
Having outgrown the smaller facility, Johnnie's Body Shop moved to a larger building at 2421 23rd Street where it remained for 14 years. In order to better serve the collision repair needs of our customers and our contracted insurance providers, Johnnie's relocated again to the current location at 1228 X Street. For over 70 years, Johnnie's Body Shop & 24 Hour Towing has provided the highest quality auto repair services for the city of Sacramento and the surrounding areas and will continue to do so well into the future.
